Wedding Ceremony Venue: The Chapel on the Hill

Once an old, rustic stone dairy mill used by farmers, these ruins have been restored into a beautiful wooden and stone chapel. The chapel is situated on a hill, there for name “Chapel on the Hill”. It is usually surrounded by a vast variety of antelope, zebra, and wildebeest grazing on the grassy plains. The chapel looks onto the Game Reserve, providing spectacular views for guests to admire before and after the service and a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos.

The chapel seats 220 guests comfortably on wooden pews, with a raised platform in the front of the chapel where the bride and groom stand for the service. The interior allows guests to be captivated by the natural and rustic feel of the chapel while embracing the natural beauty all around.

The Wedding Reception Venue: Oribi Hall

The Oribi Hall is situated adjacent to the Lake Eland Game Reserve reception, overlooking a small dam, and has a spectacular view of the Game Reserve. Wooden ceilings, windows, and doorways provide a natural, rustic look, while large dimming chandeliers create a warm evening ambiance. This venue is perfect for a day or night reception. This venue must be seen to be appreciated!

Although the hall can seat 320 guests, we also provide versatile draped curtains to reduce the size of the venue for any number of guests. A stage at the front of the venue can be used for the bridal party’s table, for speeches or it can be closed off with draping.

Outside the venue, a wooden deck overlooking the dam provides the perfect spot for guests to enjoy pre-drinks. At the same time, the bridal party has photographs taken, or it can be used for memorable group photographs with the sun setting as your backdrop.

We cater for all functions and conferences.

KUDU Conference Centre

The Kudu Conference centre provides the ideal venue for conferences of up to 50 people. For larger conferences we use the Oribi Hall.

The conference centre is situated close to the Chalets, with a deck overlooking the Game Reserve and outside area for Team Building or a Braai.
